Culinary Manager

The Manager, Culinary Experience will be responsible for:
· Creation of daily and weekly menus with an emphasis on freshly prepared, in season ingredients
· Support and training for culinary teams to foster excellence in the dining experience of our residents
· Enthusiastic participation in sales, community and recreation activities of the residence
· Compliance with all regulators and organizational policies
· Manage labour hours and food costs within allocated budget
· This position works 2 cook shifts on the line
· Oversight to Occupational Health & Safety Committee to ensure it meets all legislative requirements
· Prompt resolution of residents and family concerns
· Performing other duties as assigned
Must haves:
· Graduate of an accredited culinary program
· Experience in managing culinary teams in both dining and food preparation, including creation of menus, food ordering, managing daily costs and steps of service training
· Working knowledge of food safety and supporting a food safe environment
· Strong leadership capabilities and excellent written/oral communication skills
